Scenario
Follows troubled youth Chan Lok-kwun as he accidentally enters the Walled City, finding order in the chaos and learning important life lessons along the way. A life-size replica of the Kowloon Walled City, said to be almost identical to the real thing, is set to shoot.

Followed by Jiu Lóng Chéng Zhài·Lóng Tóu. I haven’t read the book or the comic, so I watched it with no prior knowledge.
But as far as the story goes, it’s a revenge and triad story, so if you’re expecting an interesting story, it’s sorely lacking
This movie has some really cool sets that remind me of the old shops I used to visit in Hong Kong when I was little. The set pieces and art direction are top notch and kudos to them for choosing to film it all in close-up during the closing credits.
The film has a lot of over-the-top action, but also has comedic characters that stand out with special moves
Also, more interesting stories happened around the main story where people worked in a walled city, and in particular a little girl doing all kinds of odd jobs was more interesting than all the main characters combined, and also the only character who really feels the most. But it also feels like we’re missing a whole movie with a story that was shown in flashback moments to give us a better understanding of the main story.
However, the last fight took too long for me
For me, because I wish they would make another movie with these sets, but unfortunately that’s long gone since they were filmed a few years ago. I’d rather watch less triads involving simple romance or coming-of-age stories set in a walled city.
